A game created in SFML 2.6
A 2D platformer set in a broken world.
As part of my college graded unit, I am developing Legend of Sky Wizards using SFML and C++
for core gameplay, with C# tools to streamline content creation and sharing.
This project extends the storyline and themes of my previous game, allowing me to explore
unique mechanics and immersive experiences in a customisable and interactive world.
The core concept for this graded unit assignment was to create a 2D arcade game with a 3D aspect.
While the 3D component could be used in various ways, I chose to render the game's scenes in
Unreal Engine, converting them into sprites to give the game a unique look.
This approach is inspired by other games that blend 3D rendering with 2D gameplay, such as
Octopath Traveler, Paper Mario, and Cuphead. By combining the depth and detail of
3D-rendered environments with classic 2D mechanics, Legend of Sky Wizards offers an engaging
visual experience that enhances gameplay immersion in a platformer format.

My kids love Roblox, so thought I could expand my skill stack and add Roblox creator to it.
